SAP Consultant (Data Administration)

Work closely with HR practitioners to maintain integrity of master data stored in E-HR by supporting data profiling, data patching and reporting.

Responsibilites:

  • Profile and analyse data for issue and discrepancies using existing available tools in the environment, such as SAP (HR) ad hoc queries or through SQL or Microsoft office tools where necessary.
  • Provide analysis and consultation services to address operational issues, provide resolution to data problems and perform data rectifications.
  • Support audit queries, investigation and resolution on data issues. Analyse and profile data to investigate issues and strategies on resolution to address audit findings. Perform the data rectification where required.
  • Coordinate with the HR events owner, including ground units and HRSD (Human Resource Systems Department), for HR events where man-in-the-loop decision is required, and to perform the deletion and insertion of HR events sequentially to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare reports to present to Authority for review and endorsement.
  • Propose, document and implement improvements to the current work processes to achieve increased efficiency and effectiveness or tighten audit issues in delivering the maintenance support services.

Education Qualification :

  • At least a Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering or IT or Equivalent.

Required Working Experience:

  • At least 4 years of working experience in information technology of which at least 2 years of working experience in SAP ERP would be an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in operation support including end user support, troubleshooting and testing.
  • SQL working experience and competent in SQL Programming is preferred.

Required Competencies :

  • Good knowledge of information technology, especially in the areas of SAP HCM ERP.
  • Good understanding of the data design in SAP HCM ERP.
  • Demonstrated competency in investigating and identifying causes of issues, and able to propose solutions to rectify the issue.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming is preferred.
  • Competent in applying Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Good planning and coordination skills.
  • Strong writing, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Good team player, responsible and conscientious.
  • Resourceful, independent, responsive and pro-active.
