As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail customers by offering tailored financial solutions.
Your primary role is to provide exceptional customer service, understand the financial needs of clients, and promote a wide range of banking products and services to meet their financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail banking customers.
- Conduct regular reviews of customer accounts to identify their financial needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Deliver personalized financial advice and recommendations based on customers’ goals and risk profiles.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Promote and sell a variety of retail banking products, including savings accounts, loans, credit cards, investment products, and insurance.
- Achieve individual and branch sales targets through proactive outreach and effective sales strategies.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exemplary customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
- Assist customers with digital banking platforms and services.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and internal procedures.
- Conduct thorough customer due diligence and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking or a related customer-facing role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales-driven with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to understand and address customer financial needs.
- Good understanding of retail banking products and services.
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements
