Job Description
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to head chef’s recipes and standards.
- Decorate pastries and desserts with chocolate, fruit, and other decorative elements.
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Uphold elevated standards of Food Hygiene and Kitchen Cleanliness.
- Maintain a sanitized and organized kitchen environment.
- Train and mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and skills to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Job Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience with similar role in bakery manufacturing environment.
- Minimum Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment, with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skill.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new baking techniques and pastry trends.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
