Job Summary:
A key component within the Technology PMO Team, to develop and drive one or more projects/initiatives under a program.
● Manage projects/ initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business, either one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
● Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
● Drive and own the projects from initiation until deployment in compliance with establish lifecycle standards
Job Description:
● Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
● Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
● Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team
● Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
● Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
● Manage projects that follow the Waterfall or Agile methodology
● Perform the role of Scrum Master for Agile projects
● Understand the Technical issues of the project, and be able to escalate to the right parties for resolution
● Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baselines
● Manage external vendors involved in the project, and track the vendor deliverables
● Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
● Develop and deliver progress reports, documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CTO and key stakeholders
Job Requirements:
● Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
● 10+ years of project & program management experience, including tracking and planning projects
● 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
● Good working knowledge of cloud platform (e.g. AWS) is a plus
● Experienced in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall
● Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead multiple business and technology organizations
● Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
● Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
● Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
● Tools: MS Project, Jira, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Certified PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or equivalent.
