As a Senior Staff Nurse (Labor Ward), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist in deliveries
- Monitoring blood glucose level
- Assist examination in abdominal
- Recording of patients contraction period
- Monitoring vital signs and fetal heart auscultation
- Serving medication according to doctor’s orders
- Assist the doctors in ward rounds and certain procedures
- Fetching and sending patients to or from labour room
- Perform nursing care for high risk antenatal patients, eg. Pre term labour, patients under epidural or anaesthesia
- Maintain a proper recording of patients’ medical information
- Participate in training programs, audits and other projects
- Ensure to work according to the nursing guidelines and compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma in Nursing
- Valid registration with Singapore Nursing Board
- Able to commit to shift duties
