Our client is a German MNC who is looking for a talent with roughly 5 years of experience in in After Sales of engineered product/rotating machinery and regional environment.
TLDR: The main job scopes involve reporting, management, oversee HSE activities for the department and the holistic after sales strategies and development plans.
You will be responsible for developing solutions and service offerings including spare parts, service, equipment retrofits, on-site overhauls and maintenance contracts.
Responsibilities
- Define After Sales strategy in line with the business objectives
- Provide input to the budget and manage budget goals and objectives
- Identify issues and trends and deliver solutions across the full range of After Sales activities
- Support and motivate distributors/agents whilst monitoring and exercising control over their activities
- Propose the most appropriate spare parts stocking policy for the company to serve the AS growth objective whilst minimizing inventory
- Develop, organise and support business systems (data base, ERP, CRM) allowing capitalization of market and technical data for potential analysis
- Interface with HQ in Germany and play a role as an integral part of the Global AS team
- Ensure proper documenting process of lessons learned from each AS significant project and organize a structured closing meeting with Client
- Update or upgrade forms and procedures according to lessons learned
- Develop, establish and maintain a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for After Sales activities
- Develop, establish and maintain a set of Key Performance Indicators for AS Health,
- Safety and Environmental performance measurement and improvement
- Develop and maintain a professional and technically strong team of field technician /Engineer
- Proactively and systematically visit key accounts and build up a relationship so that the company becomes end users' natural choice for their major After Sales projects
- Develop action plans jointly with distributors and agents to generate business growth
- Promote and negotiate maintenance contracts with key accounts
- Ensure proper root cause analysis of failures are conducted, conclusions reached and correctives actions undertaken
- Set up procedures to ensure that prevention plans are agreed upon with Customers before AS field technicians start their mission
- Monthly reports shall be issued to Company's Managing Director including KPIs
- Liaise with HQ for operational and functional issues
- Ensure that Company's After Sales resources whether internal or contracted are of the required discipline, experience and capability.
- Manage company AS team to ensure contracts are performed as agreed.
- Assess AS personnel's performance against their objectives on a yearly basis and provide them feed back to promote their personal improvement
- Make sure AS personnel hold appropriate regulatory qualification/certification for the performance of their duty
- Make sure AS personnel is equipped with appropriate personal safety equipment to fulfil their duty in safe conditions
- Propose and drive AS personnel training program in relation with Global AS team.
- Enforce the Company's Health Safety and Environment policy, objectives and directives. Follow and promote safe work practices.
- Record and report all safety or environmental incidents and near misses on a timely basis. Carry out a root cause analysis and enforce a resulting preventive action plan.
Requirement
- Degree holder or diploma holder with a least 7 years work experience
- Project management qualifications and/or experience - Fluency in English language (oral and written) and regional language is a additional point
- Professional Experience of minimum 5 years in After Sales of engineered product/rotating machinery and regional environment
- Strategically focused, however with high degree of hands on ability
- Self-motivated
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive management expertise and team-working abilities
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with deadline - Ability to create and maintain relationships with Customers
- High moral and ethical standards
