Job Objective
DBS Bank is looking for a Cloud engineer with experience working on enterprise level applications to drive Private Cloud automation.
Responsibilities
- Administrate the full OpenShift platform life cycle to ensure the platform remains secure, reliable and highly available.
- Work with other engineers to support the infrastructure of OpenShift as well as assist to resolve infrastructure queries/issues of OpenShift tenant applications.
- Automation of platform operations and management.
- Configure and Manage Monitoring, alerts for the OpenShift environments.
- Manage capacity for OpenShift environments.
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration and tools such as Jira and Jenkins.
- Ensure continuous uptime of Cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and deliver automation systems on-time with good quality.

Requirements
- You should be polytechnic or university graduate with good experience working on Kubernetes technology. We will consider candidates who do not meet all stated requirements but have a good flair for engineering.
- An ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of working experience with good experience working on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.

- Experience with Linux operation systems and best practices
- Automation experience, we will automate everything that can be automated
- A commitment to DevOps best practices
- Functional / Technical Competencies
- Infrastructure Operations and Production Support of container technologies and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes & OpenShift)
- Working with tools surrounding the Kubernetes ecosystem such as helm, kubeadm, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentD etc.
Working with configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, terraform etc.) - Strong technical analytical and troubleshooting skills and possess an ability to explain technical concepts and provide guidance to staff.
- Proficient to expert scripting and automation skills converting manual and maintenance functions into fully orchestrated automation.
- Must have Strong Knowledge & experience in system monitoring techniques and tools supporting unattended operations.
- Strong system security awareness and knowledge in OS hardening.
- Ability to operate in complex, highly secure, and highly available, operations environments and interact with the technology domain experts required to maintain those environments.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Coaching other members of the support team, sharing technical and customer knowledge in a helpful and timely fashion.
- Responsible for partnering with the Platform, Engineering and Delivery Teams to deliver seamless infrastructure support for all business units.
- Working knowledge of monitoring and automation tools- Ex: Netcool.
- Security Remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management).
