Responsibilities:
PropertyGuru is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to help people find their dream home. The design team at PropertyGuru collaborates with other teams to achieve business goals ensuring a great user experience.
We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to contribute and build PropertyGurus’s user experience. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our real estate marketplace platform. You will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, from user research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and iterating on designs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketing to ensure a seamless and user-centric experience across all our platforms.
- Work closely with Research to understand user needs and pain points.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
- Create high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes for user testing and feedback and stakeholder alignment
- Quickly iterate on designs based on user feedback and data insights.
- Maintain a strong understanding of design best practices and user experience (UX) principles.
- Stay up to date on the latest design trends and technologies in the proptech industry.
- As a senior member of the team, it is expected you will support existing designers with their personal and professional development to help ensure design teams are delivering inspiring and effective solutions
- Measure and monitor the projects that you ship, talk about it in public forums
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in design
- A strong portfolio (preferably in STAR framework)
- You prioritize maintaining a positive user experience over short-term gains in metrics. You believe in nurturing trust in our two-sided marketplace for long-term success, valuing the satisfaction of our users above all.
- A strong command of visual and communication design principles
- You deeply care about visual design craft, and are excited to help others level up their visual and interaction execution
- Should have an excellent command working with Design Systems
- Able to function independently and in a team environment, with excellent collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Figma and good understanding of HTML and CSS is necessary.
Animation, prototyping and good visual storytelling is a bonus
