Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire contracts lifecycle, including contract drafting, tendering drawings, negotiation, and administration.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Monitor contract performance and take necessary actions to address any issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement contract management strategies.
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters.
- Responsible in recruiting, hiring and training of QS department and staffs.
- Manage contract amendments and variations.
- Ensure accurate and timely contract documentation and record keeping.
- Work closely with Legal Counsels and Project Accountants for necessary documentations and reviews.
- Handle contract disputes and negotiations with suppliers or subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or it's equivalent
- Min 5 years of related working experience
- Able to lead a team
- Previous experience in road works is an added advantage
