Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in IT or public sector.
- Proficiency in SQL other programming languages for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and data modelling.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services (IAM Access, S3, Glue, Athena) and data visualization tools such as AWS QuickSight, Qlik Sense.
- Preferably with experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse, collect, transform, and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support decision-making processes.
- Automate repetitive data tasks and processes to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Develop, execute and tune performance tests to measure dashboard performance under various loads through queries optimisation, indexing, caching, and data processing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis.
