Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated ICT Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced ICT curriculum to students from Primary 1 to 6, fostering their development and potential through innovative learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning:
- Implement and deliver an engaging EdTech curriculum, including Maker activities, for Primary 1 to 6 students.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Facilitate learning opportunities that allow students to achieve their individual potential through EdTech experiences, including training for and participation in competitions.
- Align with the school’s mission to provide holistic development opportunities for students.
Planning and Development:
- Assist in developing schemes of work for EdTech and Maker activities.
- Create teaching resources, assessment policies, and strategies for the EdTech curriculum.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s EdTech plan and ICT department goals.
- Support the development of a relevant school-based EdTech curriculum aligned with student needs and educational standards.
- Collaborate with the ICT Technical Team to maintain and manage ICT equipment for effective teaching and learning.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Education, EdTech, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching EdTech and Maker activities to primary school students.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in an educational context.
