Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled SQL Analysts with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes to join our analysts working on banking trades and regulatory projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial data, particularly in the context of regulatory reporting and trade reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring compliance and providing valuable insights to create data products for regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities:
· Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and analyse large volumes of trade data from various sources.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity to meet regulatory requirements, such as Financial Data Models, reporting, and other relevant regulations.
· ETL Development: Design and implement ETL processes to load and transform data from source systems into our data warehouse or reporting environments.
· Data Quality Management: Identify and resolve data quality issues, implement data validation checks, and maintain data documentation.
· Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimize query performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and reporting.
· Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, compliance officers, and IT teams to gather requirements, provide technical support, and deliver timely solutions.
· Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all SQL code, ETL processes, and data models.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
· Proven experience (3+ years) as a SQL Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server.
· Demonstrated expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
· Experience with ETL
ools (SSIS or similar) and data warehousing concepts.
· Experience creating reports in Power BI (or SSRS)
· Knowledge of financial data and regulatory reporting requirements is highly desirable.
Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of banking trades and the regulatory landscape in Singapore is a plus.
