Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines. They are currently seeking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Semiconductor machines to meet the system specifications involving:
- Design standardisation
- Costing and project planning.
- Machine and module conceptualisation design
- Pneumatic/hydraulic circuit design.
- Detail fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and layout drawings.
- Selection and sizing of standard components available off the shelf.
- Responsible for Continuous Improvement Programme (CIP) and engineering field support.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- 8-10 years relevant experience in Semiconductor or other Automation Machines
- Proficient in any 3D Cad Software
- Good track record in:
- Ultra High Precision machine design
- High Speed Pick and place mechanism design
- Geometrical tolerance and dimensional analysis. (e.g. stack up error)
- Engineering material selection
- Design troubleshooting.
- Application of analysis tools like FMEA, DOE
- A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
