Contract Period: 1 Aug 2024 to 31 Oct 2025
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to support various departments within our school, including Science (SC), Mathematics (MA), Character & Citizenship Education (CCE), Physical Education, Art and Music (PAM), and Info-Comm Technology (ICT).
Key Responsibilities:
Departmental & Administrative Support:
- Perform basic administrative duties such as photocopying, laminating, and distributing teaching/learning resources
- Manage the issuance and collection of teaching/learning materials
- Conduct data entry, filing, typing, and printing of worksheets and notes
- Prepare certificates for departmental or level achievements
- Scan optical answer sheets and input student marks/grades into databases
- Collate surveys and other departmental statistics
Classroom Support:
- Assist teachers in the classroom with various tasks to enhance teaching and learning activities
General Duties:
- Record student attendance in the School Cockpit system
- Assist with general administrative tasks in the General Office
- Perform operational duties as assigned by School Management
- Undertake any additional tasks as directed by School Management
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in an office environment performing administrative tasks such as typing and photocopying
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an educational or childcare setting, preferably as a Teacher Aide in a local government primary school
