This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Teacher Aides.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE primary located in Jurong West.
Contract Period: From 1 August 2024 to 31 October 2025.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
The Services required are set out as follows:
The service required for a Teacher Aide to support the following departments
Science (SC), Mathematics (MA), Character & Citizenship Education (CCE), physical education, Art and Music (PAM) and Info-Comm Technology (ICT)
Departmental & Level Work
- Perform basic administrative duties such as photocopying/laminating of teaching/learning resources.
- Issue and collection of teaching/learning resources.
- Perform data entry, filing, typing and printing of worksheets and notes.
- Prepare certificates awarded by department/level.
- Scan optical answer sheets.
- Key in students’ marks/grades into computer databases.
- Collate department/level surveys and other statistics.
Teaching & Learning Activities
- Act as a support to teachers in the respective classrooms.
Other Duties
- Input data on students’ attendance in School Cockpit.
- Assist in general administrative duties in General Office.
- Perform operational duties as assigned by School Management.
- Any other duties assigned by School Management.
Staff is required to sign an undertaking to safeguard official information.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Must have worked in office environment performing administrative tasks such as typing and photocopying documents.
- Must have at least 1 year experience working in the educational or childcare setting, preferable as Teacher Aide in a local government primary school.
