Our client, a F&B POS system and software company, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. The ideal Business Development Manager will lead sales initiatives, handle existing client relationships, and lead a sales team to achieve their annual targets.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and sales pipelines
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Manage a team of 3 to 5 sales representatives
- Other ad-hoc and administrative tasks as required
Requirements and skills
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or diploma
- Prior 2 to 3 years of experience in F&B IT solution sales will be given consideration
- Managerial experience and a proven sales track record is required
- Existing network of potential customers in the F&B industry within the SEA region
