- Verify Database Service after changes in hosting environment (e.g. OS, AWS services)
- Manage Database Instances and Schemas
- Database Monitoring and Housekeeping
- Incident and problem management
- Hardening of Database Service
- Regular review of Database accounts
- Regular review of Server accounts
- Apply fixes or workaround for security vulnerabilities
- Manage Server accounts
- Apply OS patches or fixes
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3+ years of DBA and Server Admin
• Proven working experience with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proven working experience with at least 3 years with Maintenance, Managed services projects.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-onexperience in software
development and web technologies
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• SharePoint experiences is a big plus.
• Java/.NET experiences is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal with sense of initiative and communication skills required.
• Problem solving, issue troubleshooting.
• Professional and consultative mindset with commitment for excellent customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (both written and oral).
• Ability to come up with creative solutions for ambiguous problems and learn quickly.
• Ability to patiently explain the technology and products to customers in crisp and concise
layman’s terms.
