Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, examinations, and consultations for patients presenting with various health concerns.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, musculoskeletal injuries, gastrointestinal disorders, dermatological conditions, and mental health issues.
- Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret test results to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide preventive care services, including health screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and obesity through regular monitoring, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Coordinate care for patients requiring referrals to specialists, diagnostic imaging, or hospitalization, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation of patient encounters in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, allied health professionals, and specialists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Actively engage in patient education and health promotion activities to empower patients to make informed decisions about their health.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Registered Doctor License with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of post-graduate clinical experience in primary care or family medicine.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in evidence-based medicine.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients.
