The Position
The Project Engineer is responsible for project managing all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects. He/She plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of assigned project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish. The project engineer also serves as the single point of contact for external partners for all technical and engineering queries and request of resources. The project engineer works closely with the R&D team and under the guidance of the Head of Projects and the CTO.
Roles & Responsibilities
Project Management and Support
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial constraints.
- Provide support to teammates to comply with company operations procedure and project principles.
- Build productive relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct suppliers/vendors control activity such as verifying the purchased good or engaged services meets the requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration of teams to deliver project goals by bridging Identify communication gaps and aligning project activities.
Technical & Engineering Support for External Partners
- Provide technical and engineering assistance to external partners.
- Coordinate meeting between internal and external stakeholders
Regulatory and Standard Compliance
- Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory approvals, and support audits as needed.
Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related field).
- Fresh graduates welcomed.
- To complete Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) course within the first 3 months of employment and pass certification exam within the first year (Sponsored).
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to travel overseas (1 to 4 weeks) to work with external partners.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 13485) is a plus.
