Job Duties:
- Understand and carry out the product pricing and delivery process.
- Apply actuarial technical knowledge in making actual business decisions.
- Learn principles of product pricing framework, regulatory requirements, and gain a sense of business acumen.
- Support all queries pertaining to product features and designs.
- Other ad hoc projects as assigned
- Support the company’s various in-force management committees with actuarial data analysis and insights.
- Build and continually develop the actuarial data analytics capability to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges and provide value-adding insights of our in-force portfolio to the business.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at a Degree in Actuarial Science or related disciplines (Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, etc.)
- Self-motivated, outcome-oriented, and ability to deliver quality work under tight timelines.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues across different functions.
- Some experience in any other type of Actuarial role is an advantage
- Some experience with Prophet model, and Excel VBA is an advantage.
