Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee our construction projects. The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource management, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among all site personnel.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, monitoring progress and addressing any issues that may arise to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, safety practices, and adherence to project plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues.
- Manage and motivate site personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photographs, and site records.
Qualifications:
- At least10 experience in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction management, with a focus on site supervision and coordination.
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively manage and motivate site teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
- Solid understanding of construction techniques, practices, and safety standards.
- Relevant certifications or licenses, such as the Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification, are a plus.
