Job Description
- Responsible for par fund management work which includes bonus investigation, bonus declaration, par fund expense charging, year-end reporting forms relating to par fund, maintaining the IGP and ensuring Par fund is managed in line with the IGP.
- Liaise with Investment Department regarding SAA, and work out the various key indicators required.
- Engage in DCS and Prophet coding discussion with modelling team, as and when required, to ensure that the actuarial model used for Par fund management work is accurate, efficient and well documented.
- Conduct experience studies to assist Chief Actuary in formulating suitable valuation basis.
- Assist in preparing materials for the various Committees and Board meetings.
- Assist in any audit request, ad-hoc actuarial investigations and corporate initiatives from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Minimim Degree graduate in Actuarial Science.
- Minimum 3-5 years of actuarial experience preferably with exposure to par fund reporting.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of actuarial software: DCS and Prophet.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Access).
- Good mathematical skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Able to work independently.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
