Key Responsibilities
- Ensure 24/7 availability of SAP systems.
- Manage user and client administration, authorization management, system performance, audit management, transport management, background jobs, patch installations, system backups and recovery, kernel upgrades, and OS and database maintenance across the Jumbo Group.
- Oversee SAP Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery management.
- Maintain optimal server performance and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Manage SAP daily support tickets within defined service levels.
- Serve as the custodian for SAP system architecture, hardware, and integration landscape.
- Coordinate and liaise with third-party vendors.
- Ensure timely delivery of all IT projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration is essential.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis.
- Basic knowledge of SAP HANA and NetWeaver technologies.
- Interest in software development processes.
- Prior experience with S4/HANA is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects.
- Familiarity with Linux and SAP S4/HANA environments.
