We are seeking a Sales Manager to spearhead our sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in sales management, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a passion for motivating and guiding high-performing teams to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Management:
- Recruit, select, orient, and train sales staff to ensure a high-performing team
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
2. Performance Management:
- Set sales targets and performance standards in collaboration with the management team
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching
3. Sales Team Motivation and High-Performance Enablement:
- Develop and implement incentive programs to motivate sales staff
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance
- Foster a culture of resilience and energy
- Ensure sales staff have the necessary resources to deliver high performance
4. Quality and Customer Service Standards:
- Develop and implement quality and customer service standards
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction
5. Sales Planning and Budgeting:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve agreed sales targets
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Adjust sales plans as necessary
6. Process Improvement and Policy Implementation:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maximize sales opportunities
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
7. Reporting and Presentation:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance
- Present findings and recommendations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Local Diploma, A Levels
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Relevant sales/ acquisition experience in banking sales with a proven sales track record is preferred
