Job Summary:

Key Accountabilities
1. Processing and / or checking of Trade Finance Letter of Credit (LC) Advising / Confirmation transactions
2. Review swift and mail LC for authenticity and LC workability issue.
3. Ability to identify discrepancies, highlight irregularities and red flag items during processing
4. Co-operate with team members to achieve daily tasks assigned.
5. Timely and accurate execution of work assigned.
6. To support the trade counter in a customer facing role and dealing with external clients and internal stakeholders over the telephone.
7. Perform scanning to digitalise physical documents received
8. Assist Trade Team in amending extracted data vs Trade Supporting Documents
9. Ability to organize and change priorities frequently within a given day, multitask, work independently and with others while demonstrating a positive attitude.
10. Cover Trade Counter during lunch time
Experience
• Between 1 - 2 years of relevant Trade Finance Processing relevant experience
• Strong understanding of UCP rules, ISP 98 rules, Anti-Money Laundering Guidelines, and Terrorist Financing and Sanction Regulations
Qualification
- 'A' Level or above; Degree or related Diploma would be an advantage
- CDCS Qualified, would be an advantage
- Hard-working, self-motivated and a strong team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous and detailed oriented
- Capable to work effectively under pressure and tight deadline
- Familiar with MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, Words
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
