The Head of ICS provides leadership and management to the ICS department, which is in charge of delivering, operating, and maintaining computing and telecommunication facilities, equipment, and information services that meet the increasing demands of the Company. The incumbent is charged with strategic planning, tactical action, and operational decision-making to fulfill the mission of the ICS department.


The essential responsibilities of the Head of ICS include but not limited to:

  • A strategic view of the whole ecosystem in IT, business reporting system, and operational governance processes of the business organization as a member of the senior management team.
  • Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.
  • Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
  • Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale.
  • To plan and lead the strategic management of the Company’s information technology and information management functions. This includes delivery of all business software developments, and management of systems and infrastructure, both with internal users and external vendors.
  • Working with the management team to provide a strategic lead on the Company’s technology, analyzing and prioritizing developments, outlining opportunities, and ensuring a proactive and innovative approach to our work.
  • Accountable for the delivery of all technology-related projects including developments of business software and on-going enhancements.
  • Led and managed technical teams i.e. Infrastructure, Applications & MIS, with clear structure and processes for the department.
  • Prepare budget and management; make recommendations for technical acquisitions.
  • Develop guidelines, controls, standards, and procedures; ensure security across all the Company's technical systems and software services.
  • Continue strategic approach, innovation, and best practices in the use of technology and IT by the Company.
  • Manage and develop relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders, vendors, and outsourced development.
  • Supports Internal Audit for compliance and development of risk management in your division.
  • Ensures articulation of the company’s desired image and position and assures consistent communication both internally and externally.
  • Maintaining a highly productive, experienced, and motivated organizational culture within the Division/Company consistent with the Company’s core values utilizing effective Management/Leadership tools (performance measurement, skills assessment and training, process training).


Requirements:

  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience with broad relevant technical knowledge and good management expertise
  • A strategic thinker yet practically minded and hands on
  • Demonstrates sharp business acumen
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace working environment
  • Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Possess high level of initiative and drive
  • Possess strong team spirit and excellent communication at all levels, able to coach and led by example
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High level of business ethics and integrity
  • Creative and innovative mindset
