DNV APAC Power Systems is looking for a Senior / Principal engineer to join the Singapore office to help drive the team's impact to the next level in the region. We are looking for a talented and driven individual with significant power system domain experience to help maximize the opportunities we have in Southeast Asia and the region and provide technical and project delivery leadership for our growing team.
We are working on an exciting range of projects from complex grid connections of renewables and energy storage to supporting utilities across the region tackle the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition.
This is an outstanding opportunity to play a leading role with a growing team (20+ power system engineers in the region, 100 globally) that is working at the cutting edge of power systems in South-East Asia, Australia, and India.

Position Qualifications:
- 6+ Years (Senior Engineer) / 12+ years (Principal Engineer) industry experience.
- Masters in electrical engineering / power systems (PhD viewed favourably).
- Proficiency with power system analysis tools such as PSSĀ®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Python.
- Experience working in senior roles within power systems consultancy.
- Experience with complex, high renewable penetration power systems and firm technical understanding of associated challenges.
- Proven ability to project management large consulting packages of work, preferably in the power systems domain.
- Experience working within Electrical Network Operator / Owner viewed favourably.
- Proven experience mentoring and developing electrical and power system engineers from graduate to a senior level.
- Great communication skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients and internal staff.
- Proven track record of business development with power industry clients.
- Fundamental knowledge of power electronics control systems and experience working within an OEM is considered an advantage.
- Positive attitude with a proven ability to foster good team culture.
