Job Purpose & Objectives
Support the development of the commercial franchise of the Equity and Investment Solutions Business for BBVA in Asia. Targeted clients are mainly Private Banks, Retail Banks, Securities Houses, Family Offices, Asset Managers in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow the multi-asset structured solutions business with existing clients
- Expand client base and originate new client relationships with a strategic and long-term view
- Execute client transactions on structured products and OTC derivatives, in adherence with the Bank’s policies and guidelines
- Organize investment seminars for clients
- Provide market colour, ideas and sales commentary to clients
- Provide feedback on client activities to internal stakeholders (mainly Trading, Sales Trading)
- Collaborate with support functions
- Suggest ideas to enable cost efficiencies, reduction of operational risk, and scalability of the activity
- Monitor markets and competitors to identify trends and opportunities
- Report on performance and potential issues to direct management, support management as and when required
Job Specifications
- Master degree, CFA Charterholder preferred
- Minimum 8 years’ experience related to Structured Products and OTC Derivatives
