This position is designed to provide comprehensive experience in managing and optimizing the supply chain and sourcing processes within Asia Safe Pte. Ltd. Over the traineeship of six months, the candidate will gain valuable insights and practical knowledge in various aspects of supplier management, procurement strategies, and cost control. Asia Safe Pte. Individual to be involved in:
1. Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality materials and products.
2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough market research to find the best sourcing opportunities.
3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
4. Build and maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders, while exploring new potential clients and partnerships in the international market.
Technical Skills and Competencies
1. Product knowledge expert skills: Gain knowledge in garment industry, understand the technical features, advantages, and distinctive selling points of a product.
2. Gain experience with sales software tools (CRM tools) management and monitor the database and sales record.
3. Gain proficiency in supplier evaluation and negotiation techniques.
4. Learn to manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality standards.
