The Quality & Welding Technology Manager develops, implements and manages quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications, consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals.
Reporting to Chief Operating Officer and supervise a team of 15 staff in Quality Control & Welding Improvement Department in Changshu, China.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Responsible for ensuring that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized
and efficient manner.
· Review the factory procedures for material control, fabrication, welding and painting to ensure compliance
with international standards.
· Ensure fabrication and welding sequence and methods are in accordance to drawing requirements and
good manufacturing practice.
· Qualify and maintain welding and NDE procedures, welder and NDE personnel qualifications.
· Manage, train and mentor QA/QC teams for inspection of fabricated steel structures and sub-assemblies
including material identification and traceability, fit up and welding inspection and NDT, dimensional checks
and structural blasting and painting work.
· Ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of any product non-conformances.
· Spearhead and monitor quality improvement projects for enhancing fabrication, welding and painting
quality, reliability and productivity.
· Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies.

Qualifications
· A recognized Engineering Degree
· EN1090-2 certified.
· Welding and NDE certification are required (IWE)
Working Experience
· 10 to 15 years’ experience in steel structural works.

- Excellent command of both English and Mandarin.

- Salary between $5K and $7K
