The Healthcare Assistant delivers basic home personal care to clients and help to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment for them.
- Provide house cleaning services to clients, this includes sweeping, mopping of floors, clearing of rubbish and washing toilets.
- Assist to take simple vital signs, e.g. taking temperature and blood pressure readings.
- Assist clients in bathing and diaper change.
- Assist in the transfer and positioning of non-ambulant residents.
- Assist in serving meals and drinks to clients.
- Perform simple maintenance exercise and mediation
- Assist clients in simple mind stimulating activities.
- Assist in personal hygiene (eg: brushing teeth).
- Assist to purchase necessary supplies for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care given.
- Assist nearby Sunlove Active Ageing Centres (AAC) if there are no client cases.
- Alert Manager of any emergency situations immediately.
