Your Role
As a Functional Analyst, you will be supporting our growing team in data migration and other business consulting works. This techno-functional role allows you to be hands-on from the get-go and be involved in end-to-end project implementation cycles, which will also include dealing with customers and assisting with the building of dashboards and planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
a. Involved in supporting the consultant for the entire consulting cycle from A to Z, bridging the gap between business and IT.
b. Work in close collaboration with your team members and the clients to understand and gather business requirement for data migration needs.
c. Work together with internal team members through the cycle, to understand and communicate data usage and implications for data migration.
d. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and risk management plan to mitigate project risks.
e. Support the consultant in developing best practices, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities and data mapping.
f. Build reports and databases to support critical business KPIs.
g. Perform migration and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another.
h. Manage cross-program data assurance for physical data items in source and target systems.
About You
Your Knowledge, Skills, and Qualification
a. Graduates from any discipline as long as you are keen and have some basic understanding of data modeling and preparing datasheets, merging, custom calculations, formatting values, dimensions, and measures.
b. Good understanding of SAP data structures, End-to-end dataflow, basic planning, and forecasting tools, though not essential.
c. Be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
d. Good in written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
e. Meticulous and interested in data mining.
f. Dynamic, strong analytical skills and creative minded.
Your Experience
a. Work experience is not essential. It will be advantageous for applicants to have some internship experience in relevant fields.
b. Work experience in data mining and data management would be advantageous, though not essential.
c. Familiar with the business cycle and data management tools, financial modeling, and budgeting processes.
