Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analyses of consumer electronics products to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies for failure analysis and product teardown in our lab.
- Standardize techniques to improve the speed and effectiveness of failure analysis processes.
- Collaborate closely with global teams to optimize failure analysis activities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to our team of failure analysis technicians.
- Guide technicians in various analytical techniques, including:Elemental and metallurgical analyses: SEM, EDX, FTIR, micro cross-section, etc.
Non-destructive analyses: CT scan, SAM, laser confocal microscope, etc.
Thermal analyses: DSE, TGA
Physical and mechanical analyses: hardness, texture, contact angle, CMM, smart scope, tensile tester, etc.
- Enhance the capabilities of our failure analysis lab by improving manpower, machinery, materials, and methodologies.
- Actively participate in customer meetings and demonstrations to showcase our cutting-edge failure analysis capabilities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a relevant field.
- Previous experience in manufacturing would be advantageous.
