INVENTORY MANAGER

Abiraame Popular Jewellers (S) Pte Ltd, is a trusted shopping destination for Diamond, Gold and Silver jewellery by many in Singapore. We are reputed organization in Little India, serving Singaporeans for more than a decade. We do follow fair practice in recruiting staffs for our firm. We do have one showroom in 85, Serangoon Road.

We are young and growing company and hence, we are looking for people who are versatile in their work. Their main task is to ensure the right-amount of stock is available in right-quantity in the shop, as per customer’s needs in right-time. Being in Jewellery field, they need to do small ornament repairs work on their own.

Currently we are looking for INVENTORY MANAGEMENT MANAGER for our firm to take complete control of Jewellery Inventory Management. He / She plays a crucial role in maintaining company’s jewellery stock inventory.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for Gold jewellery flow and control within shop and HQ.

2. Need to purchase Gold Jewellery From Suppliers, based upon Singapore customer’s interest.

3. Stock-in Gold jewellery through Jewellery Software.

4. Prepare bar-code for all the jewellery and stock-out to Showroom.

5. Need to be meticulous in purchasing gold jewellery from Supplier.

6. Ensure that showroom has correct stock of jewellery in all the categories.

7. During absence of showroom manager, need to go to showroom and to be present in Cash counter as cashier & sales executive.

8. Should be energetic & ebullient leader and put extra effort (if needed) to ensure that Showroom has necessary stocks round the clock.

9. When there is export from foreign country, should be able to co-ordinate with Freight company, organize & categorise the jewellery and prepare bar-code for them.

10. Report daily stock discrepancies and adjustments completed with reasons.

11. Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned.

12. Additional projects or duties as mandated by Management.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor degree.

2. Must have at least 5-7 years of experience in gold jewellery inventory management.

3. Should be an expert in Gold appraisal.

4. They must be expert in choosing right jewellery, which suits local market.

5. Should have negotiation skill to negotiate purchase price with the suppliers.

6. Should be able to work in public holidays too, as there will be more customer visit on public holidays.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and any stock inventory system would be preferred

8. Should be able to work in Fast Moving Environment and should be adept in multi-tasking.
