The OPERATIONS MANAGER is responsible for; managing sales cycle (proposal, negotiation, booking) & working closely with the Technical/Services/Training team to ensure fulfilment of projects in a timely manner whilst ensuring budgets are maintained or improved upon
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;
Ensure the long-term profitable growth of the company by ensuring that sales volumes and profitability objectives are met or exceeded by;
• Developing and securing new business, with either existing clients or by nurturing new customer accounts
• Supporting marketing team initiatives including market research, promotion & cross selling of Company products & services
• Ensure training teams are operating effectively – making any adjustments as required
• Manage non-technical services aspects to ensure professional, efficient delivery of services
o Ensure personnel are mobilized efficiently and effectively as per company/client needs.
o Prepare financial aspects for final processing by accounts
o Coordination of payment process from customers.
o Process customers’ orders/enquiries in a timely manner.
• Define and lead local team to deliver according to business plan and budget.
• Participate in internal and external ISO audits
• Safeguard the Company's image by projecting professionalism and integrity at all times to clients and other parties.
• Shall be required to perform other related duties as requested to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
The incumbent must also ensure;
o The Company’s interests are protected at all times, with a responsible and dynamic image being presented in all dealings with stakeholders
o Good relationships are made and maintained with major suppliers, key clients/organizations
o A harmonious culture is maintained with staff, dedicated to the satisfaction of the demands of our customers.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum similar experience: 10 years
Technical or Business Management Degree. (Electrical background an advantage)
Certificates and Licenses:
CompEx certification desirable
