JOB DESCRIPTION:
▪ Practice in job rotation across different departments to understand key functions within the company.
▪ Learn about the charterparty negotiation process and familiarize with charterparty clauses.
▪ Handle all operational matters, ensure thorough and accurate follow-up, execution, and closure of the fixtures.
▪ Analyze the supply and demand, survey dry bulk market conditions and other macroeconomics etc.
▪ Verify Technical Managers monthly/quarterly reports submitted & communicate for any deviations, clarifications.
▪ Communicate and interact with other team members timely and effectively such as Operations, Research & Risk, Technical and Finance.
▪ Learn on the job from experts, develop technical and soft skills and receive coaching from line managers and peers.
▪ Other works and assignments as assigned by line managers.
DESIRED SKILLS / TRAITS:
▪ Minimum Degree in Maritime Studies or in relevant disciplines.
▪ Fresh graduates with no experience are welcome to apply.
▪ Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
▪ Highly motivated, self-starter, strong team player.
▪ Adaptable, flexible and able to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
▪ Business fluency in English, any other language is a strong plus.
