Core Responsibilities:
- Initiate and develop new repairs on aero-engine components.
- Prepare and maintain work instructions for aero-engine component repairs.
- Perform tooling design.
- Ensure compliance to OEM technical data and regulatory requirements.
- New machine and process qualifications
- Process improvements to improve process robustness, process efficiency and repair yield
- First Article inspection Reports
- Take the lead and provide guidance to the production team in Repair development.
- Actively participate and support continuous improvement / Kaizen projects
- Multi-task other engineering-related duties as assigned.
- Comply with the company’s health and safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience in an aerospace repair and overhaul environment.
- Knowledge of repair processes such as Welding (TIG/EBW), Thermal Spray, Heat Treatment, Brazing, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot peening, Machining, etc. will be a plus.
- Highly motivated professional who is able to work within a cross-functional team.
Education Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
