The Role
Our client, is an exciting new venture in the Food & Beverage industry, is currently looking for an accountant to join their dynamic team. Your role involves maintaining and preparing the complete set of accounts for a local Singaporean company.
Responsibilities
◦ Handle full set of accounts including preparing monthly audit schedules and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
◦ Issue payment and monitor cash flow and projection.
◦ Maintain fixed asset register.
◦ Payroll processing and CPF submission.
◦ Review & process employees’ expense claims.
◦ Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation and quarterly GST submission
◦ Review tax for IRAS submission
◦ Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual income statements, balance sheet.
◦ Required to engage in communication with banker,corporate secretary, tax agent, auditors and government authorities where necessary
◦ Oversee regulatory and compliance filings and assist in statutory audits
Requirements
◦ Recognized university degree in Accountancy, CPA or equivalent
◦ At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity
◦ Attention to details and accuracy in financial reporting
◦ A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
◦ Sound knowledge of IFRS
◦ Leadership ability
