They are in search of a proactive Director to join their Singapore office, whose responsibilities will encompass:
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive the business forward, including setting goals and objectives for growth and profitability
- Overseeing the financial health of the business, including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing cash flow
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with trading activities, including market fluctuations, regulatory changes, and supply chain disruptions.
- Identifying new trading opportunities, markets, and partnerships to expand the B2B business and increase revenue
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth trading operations and customer satisfaction
- Providing leadership and direction to the trading team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Making strategic decisions for the business based on industry trends, competitor analysis and client preferences
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, customers, and regulatory authorities
- Generate engaging and informative content for B2B marketing purposes via digital marketing and industry trade shows to build brand visibility
- Monitoring performance metrics and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize trading processes and maximize profitability
To be a successful applicant, you must have:
- Master Degree Engineering, in Electronic and/or related field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a design engineer in the electronics industry
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Project Management, experienced in managing cross functional teams and vendors
- Has the ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems
- Good understanding and hands on experience in dealing with automotive parts/components, Fuel Cell and related quality management system certifications
