Job Overview: As a Materials Science Research and Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and fostering partnerships within our organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cultivating and maintaining robust partnerships with local research institutions to drive collaborative initiatives and propel innovation.
- Spearheading the advancement of recycled additive manufacturing (AM) technology, guiding the creation of specifications for cutting-edge AM powders.
- Keeping abreast of the latest breakthroughs in sustainable materials research to ensure our organization remains a pioneer in the field of innovation.
- Efficiently managing multiple projects concurrently while ensuring seamless communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational Background: PhD in materials science, specializing in metals, specifically Titanium, Aluminum, or Stainless Steel.
- Expertise in AM Powder Production: Demonstrated deep expertise in methodologies related to additive manufacturing (AM) powder production.
- Proficiency in Metal AM Printing: Strong proficiency in metal AM printing technologies, with a preference for experience in metal laser bed powder fusion.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant research or work experience in materials science.
