The Guest Relations Officer/Assistant at our esteemed golf club is responsible for ensuring exceptional experiences for all guests and members. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing top-tier customer service. The Guest Relations Officer/Assistant serves as a primary point of contact for guests, managing reservations, inquiries, and ensuring seamless coordination of services to enhance their overall satisfaction and enjoyment of the club facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and members upon arrival, providing assistance as needed and creating a positive first impression of the club.
- Handle reservations for golf rounds, dining, events, and other club amenities efficiently and accurately.
- Serve as a liaison between guests, members, and various departments within the club to ensure smooth coordination of services and timely resolution of any issues or requests.
- Provide accurate information about club facilities, services, events, and local attractions to guests, assisting them in making the most of their visit.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and perform other administrative duties as required.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times, adhering to club policies and procedures.
- Foster positive relationships with guests, members, and colleagues to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive club environment.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including reservation systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of golf etiquette and terminology is desirable but not essential.
