Sales Executive / Manager | Industrial Components Supplier | Up to $5k | Tuas
Location: Tuas (Company pick up available - West & North)
Salary: $3,500 - $5,000 + Transport Allowance + Commission + AWS
Working days: Monday - Friday
Working hours: 8:30am – 4.30pm
Key responsibilities:
1. Identify, search and develop New Businesses
2. Assist in the business/organization set-up to support new business(es)
3. Provide sales/technical support with an overall new business/product responsible – Sales & GP$
4. Drive Sales volume and develop new accounts for all assigned products within the business unit
Duties & Responsibilities:
New product development:
- Search and conduct market surveys for new business opportunities/products
- Establish business relationships with vendors (manufacturers)
- Support Management in develop business proposal to secure distributorship.
- Once proposal(s) is approved, to proceed with business/organization set-up and/or work with subsidiaries to market these new products/services.
In Sales Role:
- Find and meet potential/existing customers to explore sales opportunities.
- Visits job sites to understand customers’ requirement and propose solutions
- Prepare quotations and conduct product & application presentations to customers.
- Regularly update sales activities and quotations progress in the company CRM.
- Conduct monthly sales review and submit monthly report on sales performance.
- Update market share and competition activities and take necessary actions
- Gather & leverage on market info to seek business opportunities
- Carry out marketing activities to promote and build product Brand & Image thru trade shows, advertisements, direct mailings, sales seminar, etc.
In Subsidiaries Sales Support/Marketing Role:
- This individual should be working closely with the Subsidiaries’ Sales Team to meet and/or exceed their sales targets.
- Ensure Subsidiaries have a proper sales management system in place to:
- Manage their customer database
- Monitor their enquiries, quotes, sales (delivery) and lost sales
- Monitor market share, gather market and competitive information
- Ensure Subsidiaries and their sales team are well-trained in product and application knowledge to make sales calls, sales proposals and presentation, independently.
- Time-to-time, he/she should make joint visits to Subsidiaries to review their business development and sales progress, carry out joint-sales customer visits and gather market and competitive information.
- This individual is to share and discuss with the Subsidiaries on what he/she thinks, sees and observes in their market place to set up action plans to gain access to the customers’ inner circle to promote and sell T&L products and services that will give customers good benefits.
Requirements:
- “A” level or Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years of selling & marketing experience will be preferred
- Preferably with business development experiences and relevant technical background
