We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our efforts in the [Public Sector OR Commercial Sector] market. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve ambitious sales goals and expand our customer base within this key vertical.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan tailored to the [Public Sector OR Commercial Sector] market, driving growth and exceeding sales targets. Conduct market research, identify key decision-makers within target accounts, and generate interest in our Cloud and Data Center Solutions.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, while actively prospecting for and acquiring new customers. This includes effectively qualifying leads, accurately reporting on sales opportunities, and understanding customer needs to deliver exceptional value propositions.
Sales Expertise: Confidently sell and upsell Cloud and Data Center Solutions to both new and existing customers. Leverage your understanding of market segmentation to develop and execute targeted Go-To-Market strategies for assigned accounts.
Collaboration & Communication: Act as the central point of contact for assigned accounts, fostering excellent relationships with customers and vendors. Collaborate effectively across various internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Engineering) to ensure seamless customer experience.
Performance Management: Motivate and coach individual team members to achieve their sales goals. Track and generate accurate and timely sales reports for management review.
Requirements
Experience and Achievements:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment (commercial or public sector).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading and managing a sales team
- Demonstrated success in driving the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
Industry Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and the ability to coach and mentor a sales team.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry verticals (e.g., Manufacturing, Logistics, BFSI, or a combination).
Communication and Relationship Building:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives and C-suites.
- Proven ability to articulate the value proposition of products and services clearly and differentiate them from competitors.
- Strong listening and negotiation skills to build and maintain positive client relationships.
Leadership and Strategy:
- Experience developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable sales strategies.
- A strong analytical mind with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop winning sales plans.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
