The Sales Manager/Director is responsible for generating sales, increasing revenue and profitability for the company. The individual must be adept at professional networking and building strong relationships, demonstrated success in acquiring and expanding clients. The Sales Manager/Director must be able to develop creative solutions to meet clients’ needs and potential challenges.
Responsibilities:
• Work with senior leaders to develop the recruitment strategy, defining roles and priorities
• Lead the Business Development Managers using KPIs and regularly track pipelines, manage priorities and performance metrics to share within the team and the wider Strategic Account and Recruitment Teams
• Lead the Business Development Managers in fostering strong collaborative relations with both the Strategic Account and Recruitment Teams
• Champion and lead relevant sales training within the brand
• Establish, develop, and maintain client relationships.
• Conduct prospecting activities to generate leads through effective in-person, phone, email, social media, and other outreach methods.
• Generate leads via professional relationships and other interactions that support business development/sales efforts.
• Responsible for owning key thought leadership events and publications within key target markets.
• Attend industry specific events and networking opportunities.
• Ability to articulate and win complex recruitment solutions including RPO. Retained and SOW services.
• Actively build and maintain a robust, accurate sales pipeline of leads/opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with our clients’ hiring managers to continually expand our reach inside their organisation.
• Generate viable, quality business in both, contract to hire and direct hire orders.
• Possess a solutions-oriented mindset to define the best solution to deliver the expected outcome for the client and the business.
• Guide the hiring process to meet the needs of the client while working with the recruitment team to ensure roles are filled timely.
• Achieve performance objectives (KPI’s) relating to activity and individual margin targets.
• Track and complete the timely entry of all required sales activity and documentation into the ATS/CRM system while maintaining consistency and integrity of data.
• Collaborate with recruiters to ensure effective delivery for clients’ needs.
• Strong skills selling the value of our services and possess the ability to influence and effectively negotiate pricing.
• Effectively prepare and deliver business presentations and proposals.
• Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines.
• Performs other job duties as requested and assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years' sales experience in a service industry
• Proven success achieving and/or exceeding performance goals.
• Detailed, organised, and adaptable.
• Prioritize and possess excellent time management skills.
• Experience of leading and mentoring a team or project
• Work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships.
• Exceptional written and oral communications ability.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new systems.
