Job purpose:
- Oversees all SOC Commercial and Line Management/Operations Activities in Dubai, Singapore, India and Malaysia.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing
- To build rapport with customers and expand SeaLead’s presence in Dubai, Singapore, India and Malaysia.
- Lead the overall SOC Sales and Marketing in all the mentioned countries and ensure that Agencies provide adequate support.
- Timely communication with Head Office on Pricing and Marketing Strategies.
- Ensure company’s revenue/loading target is fulfilled.
- Regional Key Account Management.
Operations
- To oversee Operational matters and ensure smooth Operational flows to meet customer’s requirements.
- Rapport Building with terminal and to enlist the assistance of Terminal if required.
- To be involved in Terminal Service Agreement discussion/execution.
Finance
- Ensure agent’s payments to Head Office/vendors are timely and in order.
- Credit risk assessment for all the mentioned countries’ accounts.
Business Development
- To provide feedback to Head Office on the market developments in all the mentioned countries.
- To liaise with Key MLOs to identify areas of expansion and cooperation.
- Identify Business opportunities and expansion plans.

Internal: Finance | HR & Admin | Operations | Commercial | SOC Sales
Background and experience:
- Minimum 10 - 15 years experience within Feeder Shipping/SOC Sales.
- Knowledge of containers incl. trade lanes, port, barging, pricing, freight forwarding, customs activities and procedures, and necessary legal requirements.
- Shipping Documentation and Cargo Claims Management.
Language requirements:
- English – Fluent (required).
