Job Responsibilities:
Procurement -
- Vendor sourcing for construction materials/equipment from international and domestic markets
- Assist to prepare tender packages for bidding purposes
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors on product information and purchasing orders
- Handle all shipping documentations; incoming shipments, tracking of shipment, import permits payments, and other shipping documentation related responsibilities
- Liaise with forwarders and transporters to ensure timely delivery of shipment to various destinations
- Keep track of inventory and stock, replenishing when needed
- Overall provide smooth coordination for the daily flow of operations
General Administration -
- Answer phones calls and emails, responding to client requests and enquiries
- Schedule and coordinate with clients
- Manage and update company databases
- Provide administrative support to colleagues or projects as needed
And any other tasks assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Madarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers
- Possess at least a post-secondary certification
- Relevant working experience would be advantageous
- Must have computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Open to learning and adaptable to changes
- Good time management and organisational skills
