Commis Cook is responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards. He/she needs to follow established food production programs and procedures. This includes appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud.
Role and Responsibilities
Kitchen duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food.
- Wash, cut, and prepare the ingredients designated for cooking
- Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen, the equipment, work stations and environment.
Skills/Qualifications
- Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
- Be able to work in team based and fast paced environment
- Recognized culinary academic qualifications will be an added advantage
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Positive attitude
- Bakery/Pastry experience is a plus
Working hours
- 5 Days work week (Split shift is needed, 10 Hours/Day). Open 7 days per week.
