Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly passionate and responsible IELTS Trainer to join our language school. The successful candidate shall be tasked to conduct IELTS and SAT English teaching, as well as establish relationships with our students to inspire loyalty and learning progress.
Responsibilities:
- Teach IELTS/SAT to students through classroom and online sessions.
- Coach on all the modules of IELTS and SAT - Writing, Reading, Listening & Speaking.
- Devise and prepare course structure and material as required, especially for IELTS.
- Prepare and set lesson plans, classroom activities, tests, and exercises.
- Conduct mock tests, giving feedback and advising students on areas of improvement.
- Assist students with coursework through individualized instruction or classes, computer assisted instruction and self study courses.
- Contribute to ongoing programme development, curriculum development, and assessment.
- Ensure basic training decorum and discipline is maintained during the programme. Prepare and maintain reports on the improvement of student learning and scores.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker.
- Experience in teaching IELTS and SAT English courses to mainland Chinese students.
- Bachelor’s degree (major in Education or Languages). Master's degree in Education or language is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Highly motivated, good working attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching IELTS and/or SAT language courses.
- Experience in teaching in a multilingual environment and academic assessment.
