JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Basic Function
- Performing day-to-day Room Reservations sales activities of the properties and follow instruction from RM/ARM for room selling strategy of properties.
- Handling phone call enquiries at Reservations.
- Follow procedures of call taking
- Handle Reservations and administration duties
- Handle and process individual reservations.
- Handle and process group and series booking and including taking booking appropriate chasing and rooming list.
- Check credit worthiness where applicable with Accountant.
- Handle and process deposits.
- Maintain an efficient administration system including record keeping, filing and guest history.
- Develops close working relationships with all business suppliers.
- Ensure sales leads are forward to Sales department for action
- To achieve a level of service quality that consistently meets the expectations of guests and internal customers.
Job Specifications
- Sales knowledge, financial knowledge, computer knowledge and able to work long hours.
- Certificate / Diploma in Hotel Management.
- Minimum 1 year as Property Reservations Assistant in international class hotel or Good / Fundamental reservations knowledge in an international class hotel.
- Articulate, ambitious, good sense of humour, sensitive to guest and employee needs and a positive role model.
- Fit and Healthy.
