Senior Regional Payments Manager

Job Description

  • Work together with legal and compliance teams to build up a solid SEA payments platform.
  • Work together and meet with regulators along with the legal and compliance team if necessary.
  • Conduct operations for merchants, service providers and partner institutions in SEA countries.
  • Based on full understanding of regional formats, users, and cooperation channels, you will explore the needs and scenarios of merchants, and improve the effective coverage, activity, and transaction volume of merchants by formulating effective operational strategies and resource integration programs.
  • Develop and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on merchant accounts and participate in providing input on sales and marketing collateral.
  • Achieve/exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth and provide recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential.
  • Develop strategic plans based on gaming and payments industry trends and customer analysis.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the payments industry especially for gaming industry , with a strong understanding of payment processing, merchant services, regulatory compliance, and gaming operation base on third party payment.
  • Proven track record of leadership in the payments sector, with a focus on strategic partnerships and business development.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the Singapore payments landscape.
  • Experience working closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations and mitigate risk.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders, including merchants, service providers, and partner institutions.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and structuring strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Strong operational background with experience in managing merchant accounts and optimizing operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to formulate and implement effective operational strategies to increase merchant activity and transaction volume.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and industry dynamics.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic plans based on industry trends and customer analysis to drive business growth and competitive advantage.

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin), in order to communicate with various stakeholders in headquarters
